ABOUT THE DIRECTOR:

Liz Grote:
Bowdoin College Head Coach
The spring of 2009 will mark the seventh season for Bowdoin head coach Liz Grote, and few coaches have enjoyed as stellar a beginning to their Bowdoin career. Grote has won over 67% of her games since coming to Brunswick (68-35) and has paced the Polar Bears to two NCAA Regional Final appearances. Coach Grote was honored as the IWLCA's New England Coach of the Year in 2005 and led Bowdoin to their first-ever NESCAC Championship game berth in 2006. Prior to Bowdoin, Coach Grote was the head coach at The College of Wooster and assisted at The University of New Hampshire and Princeton University.
